The 17th Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA) returns to Sydney from 20–25 August 2026, showcasing a stellar lineup of 10 exceptional Korean films brimming with raw emotion and cinematic energy.

This year’s carefully curated program reflects the remarkable breadth of contemporary Korean cinema. Across ten films, audiences will encounter stories that inspire laughter, suspense, nostalgia and reflection, each offering a distinct cinematic voice while capturing the emotional depth and creative energy that define Korean filmmaking today.

Adding to the festival experience, KOFFIA is proud to welcome acclaimed filmmakers and actors to Sydney for a series of special Q&A sessions, offering audiences the rare opportunity to engage directly with the creative minds behind the films.
