Soon-tae (JO Woo-jin), who didn't want to be extorted for his family's Chinese restaurant 'Mimi Lu' that had been passed down from his grandfather, joins a gang called 'Family Clan' on his own and saves the Boss Dae-su from danger and earns exemption from paying the street tax. Ten years later, as 'Mimi Lu' becomes renowned as a gourmet restaurant and receives franchise offers, Soon-tae finally decides to leave the gang. However, when Boss Dae-su suddenly gets involved in an accident, Soon-tae is not only unable to leave but is also appointed as the heir apparent. Despite all sorts of tricks and strategies, he finds himself inexorably becoming the boss, even shoeing away Pan-ho (PARK Ji-hwan), who has been scheming to become the boss. But where there's a will, there's a way. Upon hearing the news of Kang-pyo (JUNG Kyung-ho), who had promised to become the next boss and had gone to prison long ago, being released, Soon-tae attempts to pass on the torch to him. However, Kang-pyo surprises everyone by declaring that he wants to become a tango dancer instead of the boss upon his release from prison. Soon-tae, who can't give up on his dreams, realizes that he may have no choice but to lose in the boss election!
